A key capability of Prevensys is a comprehensive alert management system designed to ensure that critical incidents are never missed, and any remediation is undertaken by the right people, as quickly as possible.
At its core is the ability to group together machines and networks and then create priority-based alerts at any chosen level. From here the Prevensys Central Manager (PCM) console enables you to set the alerts of individual elements at just the click of a few buttons. Furthermore, you can set the alerts to be activated by High, Medium, or Low priority as well as being advised as to whether its current state is OK, Warning, or Critical. Whichever configuration you choose, you will have at your side a truly invaluable service that immediately routes any alerts to your designated on-call engineers, who in turn have the ability to acknowledge and deal with the incident themselves, or escalate the incident to another member of the team.
The functionality of Prevensys means that you can choose whether alerts can be sent out via email or through integration with a dedicated incident management system. The flexibility of Prevensys means that while you can use third-party incident management systems, for complete peace of mind we recommend Cloud Core, our own proprietary solution; whereby Quadris can manage the alerts for you and either route them to your team or to Quadris’ own technicians.
As Prevensys integrates with Microsoft PowerApps, you also have at your disposal additional functionality offered by other applications in Microsoft’s own stack such as Teams. This ingenious solution also includes an API that sends information straight to Microsoft’s Common Data Service (CDS) whereby the payload is translated and then mapped to various fields such as the alert id, the server in question, the description of the alert, the threshold that it has hit, the time that the incident started etc.
Once all the information is in the Microsoft CDS you can run Power BI reports against the data stored there. You can immediately see how often a server is alerting, if it is alerting at a certain time of day, what the mean time to resolution is, and what the mean time to response is. All this invaluable information and insight can be pulled out into a dashboard, presented as a graph, or as a detailed report to be shown to your executive team.

No matter if you are working with Citrix, Remote Desktop Services or Windows desktop, you simply need a username, and in a matter of seconds you will have at your fingertips all the information needed for a swift resolution of the issue.
With the user located, the dashboard clearly displays general health indicators such as number of logins, failed machines, and detailed statistics on login duration and type; enabling server-side issues to be quickly identified.
As anti-virus software can often be the cause of slowdowns, the dashboard offers information on how much memory and CPU time the AV software is taking, and importantly if there is an attack in progress. You can also view the resource utilization of the user and see what other users are doing simply by checking the CPU usage, IOPS, and memory utilization of all users on a per application basis.
