Senior Technical Consultant specialising in Office365

Location: UK-wide

Summary

The key purpose of the Senior Consultant role is to provide expert leveltechnical consultancy to ensure we deliver high quality projects, as well aspre-sales and post-sales support to our growing client base. Quadris is lookingfor someone with extensive Office365 experience both in terms of administeringit and delivering Office 365 projects.

 The successful candidate will be working with our project and managed service teams to deliver project and support services to our clients over a range of verticals. The role is based at either our Doncaster or Stockport offices or at home. During projects it will be necessary to work at our customer sites which are predominantly in the UK.

 The consultancy project responsibilities include:

Pre-sales consultancy to identify appropriate use of Office 365 to meet customer requirements.

Demonstrating how various Office 365 features can be used to addressbusiness issues to influence customer’s understanding about the value and useof Office 365.

Identifying the license and implementation costs associated withimplementing Office 365 based solutions and services.

Formulating effective project plans.

Delivering Office 365 projects.

Configuring Office 365 including tenant administration, security andcompliance administration, storage configuration.

 The role also includes responsibility for assisting the managed serviceteam with more complex (3rd line) technical diagnostic and resolution support and helping skill more junior staff.

Customers who are satisfied because you have helped manage their expectations and deliver against them. Office365 technical issues have been effectively diagnosed and resolved and where appropriate the managed service team have been upskilled to address them in the future. Office 365 projects have been successful because you have helped identify an effective implementation approach and helped deliver it on-time and to budget. Throughout the project lifecycle the customer has felt they have been communicated to effectively.

Continuously improving and evolving individual who is self-motivated and able to drive company reputation for understanding applied.   Application of your proven experience of Consulting on Office 365  to technology solutions clients, as well as supporting others, sharing technology knowledge and best practice across the team. Able to demonstrate compliance with information security practices and  ISO27001 related security standards within their work. Demonstrates commercial awareness. Able to adapt to and embrace new technologies. Demonstrate excellent logical troubleshooting capabilities.  

Essential skills and qualifications

  • 555At least 3 years' experience in a similar role with Microsoft Stack
  • Ability to elicit requirements and communicateclearly with non-technical individuals, development teams, and other projectmembers
  • Have a solid understanding of delivery methodologyand work within a team for the implementation of the solution according to thedesign/architecture
  • Experience in project and solution estimation andteam structure definition
  • Fluent and current on Office 365 architecturetrends with an eye on market/technical conditions and future direction andusing this understanding to influence customer understanding and projectimplementation approaches
  • Demonstrated success in performing work andmanaging consulting projects for organisations with between 50 and 2000 users.
  • Proficient in authoring, editing and presentingtechnical documents
  • Strong written and oral communication skills;Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff
  • Desire to mentor younger team members and developtheir skills
  • Experience working on multiple concurrent projects
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Office 365 Advanced implementation experience including utilisation of(not necessarily all);
  • 365 Value Add – (Planner, Flow, PowerApps etc)
  • SharePoint Online & Migration experience – Documents, Permissionmanagement, Workflows, Intranet Design
